Overall

I sincerely enjoyed reading Prensk'y book "Don't Bother Me Mom- I'm Learning!" I thought this book had a lot of innovative and original ideas about video games. I had never considered the use of video games in school, which just goes to show you how even I, as a young adult have already fallen behind when it comes to technology. But Prensky bring to light what I now believe to be the truth about video games. They are the future of learning and deserve more credit than they are getting. People need to look past the stereo type that games are just use for fun in our free time. It is a refreshing thought to consider video game being introduced into the educational curriculum. I do have to give credit to Marc Prensky though for allowing me to open my eyes to these ideas. Without his book I don't think I would be able to come up with such a compelling argument about the positives of video games. His arguments are well structured and researched and I think he makes a very persuasive argument in his favor.
